The best sushi we've had in Boise with a good sake selection. This restaurant is authentic and traditional. If you want good nigiri or simple rolls, your will not find any better sushi in Boise. Their kids menus is very good, too!

Probably some of the best sushi in the valley that I've had. The smoked salmon is seriously smoked, making the Philadelphia roll incredible. The Alaska Roll was the best version I've ever had. Everything tasted fresh. I did take away and ate it at home. I made a miso soup with shittake mushrooms, nori, ginger, bok choy, scallions, chili oiland the soup paired with the sushi incredibly. I will definitely be back soon.

The fish quality is good and they had a big variety which is always nice. Service was good too. Overall worth a try!

My first experience with less than excellent food and atypical service. The pot of miso soup must have had a bunch of seaweed added but not cooked to soften when my cup was dispensed. I couldn't chew it. I mentioned it to the server, who at my request brought me a salad, which was great, but later noticed a charge $4 for it.

I’m convinced this is some of the best sushi I have had in the Treasure Valley. The fish is fresh, the warm tea is flavorful, and the menu has tons of options. The employees are attentive, gentle, and kind. The atmosphere is calm. Sakura has become my favorite place to order bento boxes and sushi from!
